I have an 05 Polaris 500xcsp. I want to change the track and install a 1-1/4" Rip saw. The stock track was .92" when new. Will the 1-1/4" track fit with no issues.

I would think that there wouldnt be any problems. Most sleds can handle the 1-1/4 but any biger you might have some clearance issues.

^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ I agree with that.
If you're still not comfortable about it however, a call to your local dealer should be all it takes to get a definite yes/no.
P.S. Welcome to the site, we're glad you're here....Where are you from and where do you generally ride?

I'll let you know when the season opens, and I will post directions to my camp. But for now my camp is at the very end of Robinson Hollow Rd where it meets West Hill and Matson Rd.

Sounds great....maybe we can get a group of us together for a ride! (maybe we can get arcticcatmatt to bring some wood for a bon-fire since he has a new chainsaw?) ;D

arcticcatmat knows where my camp is. He was up there 2 years ago on his sled and a friend and I were on our quads. We saw his tracks and he saw ours, we were both looking for each other. When he got home he posted pictures on this site and as I was looking at them I noticed the area looked familiar, and then I saw my quad tracks.

I dropped my sled off at SSR powersports two weeks ago to have the 1-1/4" ripsaw track installed. I will be heading back up Wednesday 12/30 to pick it up. I also told him I never liked the high rpm clutch engagement. So he said he will change the spring on the primary. He said I wont have the hole shot for drag racing but it will be smoother for tight trail riding.
