The track on my Trail Cat has a tear in it from one of the cleats getting basically ripped off. Should I put a new cleat or a bigger cleat or anything in it's spot, or will it cause it to tear even more? (Picture of the track in Member Sled Pics)

Just put a new cleat in place.

I would have to agree with rj on this one. Your track is designed to have a cleat there. It looks like your tears are only in one area, you may want to reinforce it there. I see rj recommended bolts instead of rivets for replacements, maybe some washers on the tore spots would help. I don't see how you could do any harm by replacement.

The bolts have bigger heads than the rivets do.
