Hi all,
I took my front shocks off my sled yesterday and am looking for a place to have them rebuilt.
Any recommendations?

Are you looking to keep it local? If I recall you're up Cortland way...? There are a handful of really good places but they are more in the way of Wisconsin and Michigan which obviously would involve shipping and waiting. If that's something that might interest you let me know and I'll pass along the places I've read about, if not I'm not that sure about local places that do that kind of work specifically but I bet any dealership would atleast have the capabilities.

I'm in Lansing (about 10 minutes from Dryden) .
I don't mind sending them out if that's the best option, I have never had em rebuilt before so i'm not sure what to expect.
Ill stop in at hygear on the way home today and check em out.
Feel free to pass along the places you have read about as well and ill check em out online.

They are reasonably priced, rebuild on my rear shock was $30 and included new valving.

I second this motion....they've done excellent shock work for me in the past, and they're local!

JBShocks out of Michigan I've read alot about and heard only good things about. Their pricing seems fair and it looks like they can work on just about any shock brand and style.
They're at:
JBShocks.com Owner/operator - jerry@jbshocks.com

There's also a place right in Lansing. I'll try to find the address, but I just saw it recently.
