Remembered how much fun I had as a kid with sleds, so I bought my 2 couple of used ones for christmas....
......and continued buying! The herd:
79 SRX 440
80's Enticer
72 A/C Panther,Kaw 440
94 Polaris Indy 500 EFI
80's ss 440
85 Formula Plus.
The Kids, 14 and 16, both race stock cars, and are typical teenage maniacs, that have discovered 'air'...as in 'dad...I need a tape measure...I wanna see how far we jumped!"
obviously, we could get a little closer to the 20th century, but we are havin a blast with the old Iron.
I wanted them, as in racing, to learn maintenance and prep...and they are.....
The SRX is a hoot, but I'm thinkin Sell or trade up, as I'm 47 and have found that newer sleds are kinder to my body. (let's face it 70-80-90 mph on something with the suspension travel of a toboggan = a limp and some snivellin the next day...... ;D
