Copied from email. I am very happy to report that all of the requested changes that were submitted in the Phase I application have been given preliminary approval. This includes our new 15 mile class A corridor trail to Groton, C2H, and rerouting and reclassifying all of our wide trails in Tompkins county as class A (corridor and secondary). In addition, the new trail and reroutes in Tioga county were also approved. All together, we should get another $10,000 or so in funding as a result. Once we get the official approval in October from the state, the county sponsors will send out an updated mileage worksheet and we will allocate any new trail junction markers that are needed. Thanks to everyone that helped me get this done on time. Jeff Bishop Funding Coordinator Web Administrator Dryden Caroline Drifters Snowmobile Club, Inc. What are the new trails in berkshire? I see there is a new sign by the railroad tracks. Do we have an updated map yet? Hopefully I can still leave from my house If a local in Berkshire is needed let me know (As long as it is not on the work day, I'll be out of town hunting for 4 days then)

Copied from E-mail. Hello Snowmobilers, There is a lot of good news to report as we get closer to the start of the season. · It looks like we passed the final hurdle for the approval of our proposed trail additions and modifications. Check out the article in today’s Ithaca Journal for their spin on it: www.theithacajournal.com/article/20091029/NEWS01/910290383&referrer=FRONTPAGECAROUSEL· Our new 2009-2010, multi-club, 1000 mile trail maps are here and look fantastic. Club members can pick their copy (one per membership) at any of our meetings. Additional copies will be available for $5 each. · We are researching the purchase of a third Class A groomer to add to our inventory. · Our next meeting is Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at 7:30pm at the Dryden VFW and is the official kick off for the new season. Come learn how you can get involved and support your local trails. Pizza and wings will be provided by the club. If you haven’t already done so, please renew your membership and register your sled today! The state makes trail funding decisions based on sled registrations done before November 1st. It is very quick and easy to renew your membership online and get a voucher for the reduced registration fees. Follow the instructions at dcdrifters.net/membership.html.
