Started my day at 8:00 am, dropping in Solon. We headed for McDonough we wanted to go to the Bowman Lake State park area. We found mostly great trails until we arrived in McDonough. We stop and had a bite to eat at little diner at the 4 corners. We asked for some direction because the trail seemed to end right at the 4 corners. No one could help us. We rode down a couple of the roads trying to find the trail again, but found nothing we the said the hell with it and turned around and headed back. On our way back to the truck we went through a Cortland County Sheriff checkpoint, we then stopped by the Twin Bridges Snowmobile Clubs hot dog roast, made a little "donation" to the fund and enjoyed some nice conversation. They were busy!!. We then headed back to the truck and loaded up around 1:15pm 81.4 miles. I go home and find that the lake effect squalls this morning had left me with 5-6 inches to clean up, plowed the driveway and just walked inside and Dan EMTP579 called and said he MLV, FF1emtd and biruk were at the VFW and invited me to head down and ride with them. I unloaded the sled and headed right down.
We decide to go to Virgil and back to Cortland K Mart.. MLV says hmmmmm. about 30 miles. well sixty miles later we arrived back in Cortland! It was the scenic route, we ended up going through Caroline, Berkshire, Lisle, Virgil. I'm sure I missed a couple. All in all not bad trails at all. Some very nice scenery. Si I ended my day with 139.8 miles. Thanks guys for inviting me to join in. Another awesome day ;D
Part one of the ride.
We covered some ground ! The batteries in the GPS died just south of Truxton. (Got most of it though)
My Friend Jeff
My Friend MJ (Think she was happy to be out riding)
