Managed to "sneak" out for a quick 51 miles again today, My wife is way to nice ! ;D Took 4 local friends up to Solon with me today, 3 out of the 4 had never ridden up there. They received at least 6-8 inches of fresh snow last night, more than we got in Dryden! The trails we rode had not been groomed and some were a little bumpy compared to yesterday. It was nice forging some of the trails with the fresh snow. All in all another great trip. We also stopped at the Centro Hotel in Deruyter and had a quick lunch, very good and reasonable priced meal! I feel very luck to have ridden three days in a row! Back to work and a reality check tomorrow morning! Today's Map... History Lesson.... Bill telling us all about this old abandoned ski area. He grew up in this area and used to ride his sled up there on a regular basis. You think a little snow? Yamaha!!!!

Where is the Centro from the store (gas) we were at yesterday? Duane p.s. As a side note, we're thinking dad got a touch of frostbite on his neck yesterday....swollen pretty good and real sore he says....he ordered his balaclava today. (better late than never I suppose)

You could walk to the Big M from there! Getting there via sled is a slightly different story. You have to get to the Centro from a trail that they have put in. Not to bad you could probably be at the Big M in like ten minutes? I may have missed another trail but none of saw any other way to go.....

Dang... that is to bad, it was cold. Remember we were talking about them yesterday. EMTP579 had a touch of frostbite on New Years day also....
Hopefully it will heal up in a few days and he will be ready to rock the trails with us again. I had a blast yesterday and I know he enjoyed it as well. Tell him I said to buy the nose/mouth piece as well... Oh hell just by a nice new Modular helmet... He has new skis might as well get a new helmet as well (Ha Ha)
