Started out on S55 trail west side of Moravia and on into Moravia on C5F. Headed up through Filmore Glen and stopped for a reg. & insurance check on Salt Road. Tried out the new trail through the woods to Dresser Rd. but that was plenty rough. Turned around and headed back but took the trail(?) off Cloverleaf Rd. that connects to S56 back into Moravia. Wouldn't recommend riding that again until we get a foot of snow or more. Saw some young kids with a crashed sled from missing the bridge - they were ok but the sled had some pieces scattered. Trails on East side of Moravia to Salt Rd. need grooming but I understand that will begin around 8pm tonight. West side was groomed last night and is in nice shape. Great to have the woods near Austin Rd. opened up for grooming. Nice job Fingerlakes!

West side (Genoa-King Ferry-Venice) of Moravia has been groomed Monday night and the Genoa to Moravia again tonight to the meeting at the VFW. Unfortunately, Fingerlakes Trail Runners is down a groomer (knocking in the engine so out for repair) over toward Sempronius so we'll be sharing the two large groomers over our trail system. Several Poker Runs happening this coming weekend also.
