EMTP579, myself and another friend of mine rode the Solon area again today 100+ miles. All I can say is SWEEEEEEET ;D This area was again great, groomed, more than enough snow. Good Times!!! A few Pics can be found here.... s263.photobucket.com/albums/ii147/medic944/Ride0110229/It seems like every time EMTP579 and myself ride we always run into some sort of adventure, be it trailer tie downs that will not come off, frozen locks, trailer issues, etc.... Keeps us on our toes! Today's Adventure.... EMTP579 is one hell of an acrobat.... Saw him do a body barrel role and jump right up on his feet this afternoon. This was all like in slow motion as I was watching it from behind him. Luckily it was at very slow speed. Sled ended up going slightly of the trail, the little sapling in the picture helped stop it. I'm glad EMTP579 was fine and the sled made it through without damage.

Now for the all important question, just what exactly happened to cause the "slow motion" incident? Glad to hear both you and the sled are a.o.k. Dan! Duane

^ The issue was that we stopped so Clayton could have a "breathing treatment." After we got done with that we started off and I was leading so I took off. I had my right leg across my seat standing up. As I got closer to the turn, I went to put my foot down on the footboard and missed. My foot planted firmly on the trail. I was concerned about getting my leg caught so I did a nice gentle tuck and roll away from the sled. It was only about 25 mph and controlled. It is like when you come down a ladder and miss that last step. Wakes you up! Fortunately Clayton got a nice new camera for Christmas so he could take a picture.
Notice that he took pictures before he checked to see if I needed any help. HAHA

;D Come on I asked if you were fine first...... It was like a scene from the movies but from my vantage point it was like in slow motion. It was so smooth. Like I said above I was glad man and machine were fine. We always have to have some sort of excitement. And yes the new camera does come in handy

HAHA, I could not make out what you were saying through the laughter. It was smooth because it was an intentional tuck and roll after the shock of my foot hitting the snow. It is amazing how quickly that can happen though.
