Well, After attending the Blast From the Past I was pretty pumped to see how many people are passionate about the vintage sled thing. People were from all over near and far to attend and show off there sleds. I feel like this is a bigger hobby in the area than what most people think so I decided to create a Vintage section on this website. It made me think about getting involved in the vintage thing. I would like to start easy and see how it goes. We just got rid of some old beaters but if I can find something mostly restored already for a good deal you might find me back at the vintge shows. It was a good time and the amount of effort people put into these sleds is amazing. So here is a vintage section so lets see how it goes.
Think Snow! Old School!

That shouldn't surprise you rob, just look at all the questions asked in the vintage boards on other sites.
Anything I can help with, just ask. Old Cats. old Poos. even old Doos, not so much on Yammies though and many of the other little known brands as well.

I think I was more surprised about how much people were involved in the area. I look at a lot of the other sites but never see too much in NY except for a couple shows. IT is a cool thing though.

I've been to two vintage shows this year. It is amazing to know just how many people out there follow and go to all these shows. The quality of the sleds, and of course all the brands that used to be. Just incredible. A point of interest to everybody....The NEPA Sno Trails club is sponsoring a "Vintage Ride" sometime in January. I believe they rode somewhere around 50 miles along their trails, made all the food and drink stops along the way. Sounds like a good time.
