Norm, Give me a shout if your thinking about one more ride on Friday. Who knows what the weather will bring...I keep praying for more snow! Seven Valley Snow Goer's have already closed the trails for the season....been a long time since it closed this early around here...no snow sucks! I'll throw on a Nicorette Patch, or maybe two to cut back on the smoke breaks! LOL!

^ The fog was not bad until the very end of the day. It was not bad until I took the pic and I would not let a little pea soup fog and extreme danger spoil my day haha.
Thanks also to everyone for not flaming me for the fact that I NEVER resize my pictures. I know how but am too lazy or I forget. It could hurt my feelings if you picked on me for it. HAHA.
MLV - welcome to the group!
I'd also suggest we get the Whitney Point club added here as well. I'd love to see people from there posting.

Norman Seven Valley is already listed there. I will add Whitney Point. Someone from the Seven Valley used to post on here but I haven't seen them since last season. Dan- Do you know anyone from the Whitney Point club? It would be cool to get it out that way!

I am not sure. The more I talk about it the more people I meet that I did not know rode. I think I am going to join that club next year since that is where I did most of my local riding. We can always send the info to their e-mail address.

Lower amounts over Winona /Little John way, but trails were perfect! Sunny, but windy and cold for the most part. We spent the afternoon checking out each trail, dead end or not. A little rough up north of County Rt 90. Gold Spike trail had a few funky spots. Marsh Rd was beat a bit in spots and Bronze Trail down from it, was the most whooped trail in Winona Forest. A slight open water crossing on the Secondary Trail that goes from Tucker Rd across County Rt 17 and then onto Little John Rd(this trail must have a name?). We wondered why it was untouched powder at 2:30pm, but saw why, as sleds were turning around coming from the east. They were intimidated by the water, but it was an easy crossing. All great stuff! Trails were much better than I expected, with this week's weather.
When we first pulled in the lot on Wart Rd was fairly full, which I had never seen before. Most sleds it seemed, just boogied straight for Tug Hill Proper though, as we saw few sleds all afternoon. I think most other parking areas are bare.
Mike took pictures and GPS'd where we went, so look for a post. To all who go, have a great ride tomorrow and lets all make it to Winona for a group ride next season! Norman
