Hey guys, I got alittle situation here....the middle cylinder of my ZRT is spittin oil out and I'm not really sure why. It ran like crap acouple weeks ago but now its runnin great again. It doesn't seem to be spitting as much oil out but there is still some coming out. Does anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening? I think it may just need new piston and rings since I've heard that you're suppossed to go through these triples like every other season depending on how much and what kind of riding you do...who knows but any ideas and suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks, Mike

Before tearing into it, do a compression check. Also check the plug color on that cyl. it might be alittle rich. If it is, you will need to do plug chops to determine at which part of the throttle range is in need of adjusting. Check this site here for more info; www.slednutz.com

^ Mike, if it has broke on a ZRT chances are I have fixed it. I have had one since 1999 and spent the last 2 years putting together and rebuilding the one I have. If you have any questions just PM me and I will get back to you.
I get PM's every other day from people (on other sites) that have ZRT's that need assistance. No gaurantees but I try my best.
I have a 96 motor in a 97 chassis currently (best ZRT in my opinion)
Good luck

If you read the site, it says that you should already have a hard copy, this is so that you can print out a few pages so that the hard copy does not get all gunked up in the shop.
