You are probably going to need a clutch puller. They unfortunately are not a universal tool either. Check out centralsnowmobile.com.

i got my clutch puller today from dennis kirk! i'm going to try to get it off tomorrow. I'm afraid of that thing springing off the shaft! Will that happen or no?

Rob, The ones I've pulled usually fall right off. But like anything else I woulden't get right in front of it when you're tightening the puller. You know snowmobiles they bite too. You won't need the puller too many times but they're priceless when you do. Good luck. Lonnie.
