Not bad for a 27 year old track! One of the cleats was split and broken because part of the suspension came apart while riding it causing it to jam up the track basically ripping the cleat half off. Causing the broken cleat to hit inside the tunnel while I was riding it (The knocking). Dad grinds off the rivets so we could get what was left of the cleat off the track, with Mike and I holding up the snow flap.

You might find that investing in an air hammer and chisel tips to be also a time saver when changing rivets on the track. I got away from even using rivets at all by using the special replacement bolts. They cost slightly more, but they never break and can be reused and you only need a 5/16 socket to install them.
