Took the corridor 5 trail from Berkshire down to almost Owego today. Was about 5 above when we left at 11 AM. Trails were in decent shape - a bit rough in some spots in the woods, but the fields were in pretty good shape. There was considerably more snow once we got south of Newark Valley. Tioga Ridge Riders have done a really nice job of grooming and signage. Had lunch at the Paradise Cafe near Flemingville -real good burger and fries. They are open Sat and Sunday until 2 PM. Got back around 3PM, and it had warmed up to 25. Saw a bunch of other sleds, almost all heading north into lesser snow coverage. All in all a great ride - its a nice trail. Probably the best riding we've had in a couple of years at least.
