Another great ride out of the back yard today. We left from Owego, through Candor, then Spencer, to Horseheads club trails, and finally Twin Lakes trails. I thought the rr bed in Spencer would be murderous, but it was actually pretty good, thanks to these guys: Trails still nice by the lumber yard almost to Alpine Jnct: Here's something you don't see on the trail every day, on the way to Alpine Junction: Looking towards Seneca lake: No one sank in Cayuta lake: Twin Lakes groomer: Connecticut Hill was awesome. Twin Lakes really does a great job on their trails, the signage was amazing. Trails in Spencer and Candor were pretty good, the signage in Candor on parts of their system is a little lacking. They had groomed at least part of C2 by the time we came back tonight. Tioga Ridge Runners trails are groomed and flat. We stopped at the Bar Angus bar on the way to T-burg to eat. They have no food. Not because their oven is broke....but apparently they just never serve food. Interesting place...but not the good kind of interesting. We left there after about 3 minutes and ended up eating a few miles up the trail at the Falls diner. Food there was good and fast, and there wasn't a sheen of grease on the utensils like some places. Nice place, and I'll give it a solid 4 stars.
