I just ventured up trail 2B by the Cornell Farms. The trail should be closed. There is only ridable snow in the fields. The woods has alot of dirt and rocks. Its horrible.
Land owners are telling me that if people keep riding on these trails, the trail is going to be shut down.

Hey Matt, can't your local club help police the trails to keep from ruining it for everyone else?

Its hard to police a trail that has no snow on it. I emailed our club about the problems. They just updated the webpage www.dcdrifters.net/conditions.htmlI took this picture last year.. this is what closes trails. Maybe we need to put up orange tape on stakes where every trail crosses a road so people know there is no riding allowed.. I don't know. www.snowmobilefanatics.com/forum/attachment.asp?id=26016It would be nice to get more locals in here using this. It could be a GREAT tool for us to take advantage of. Oh.. and that REI sponsor I see all over this board, don't buy from them, they support tree huggers and closing snowmobile trails.

They are just going to ruin it for the rest of us. The advertising on the site is done automatically through Proboards. I have no control over that but I do agree with you!
