In case anyone was interested, due to no snow, trails are closed. Not looking too good for any time soon either.

Looks like the drifter trails are being hurt by people riding in these low snow conditions - I am going to try and find out what part of S23B has got the entire trail closed down and see if I can help fix the situation. Thats my main local trail. I just emailed a few in the club.
We have 0-5" of fluff and no base. Some riders have been out in these marginal conditions and this is causing lots of landowner complaints and even some trail closures.
S26 - The trail from Speed Hill to Buffalo Hill Road is CLOSED most likely for the season, this is the trail from Don Mix's house on Rt79 to the old Crooked Board. The landowner has been up in the woods doing some work and there are a couple very dangerous 25 ft drop offs where someone could get seriously injured.
C2c - Trail from Dryden to Cortland. There are complaints from Sherman Farm that sleds are not staying on the trail and are running over fencing, in the fields north of the communication tower. Please pay attention to the signage and if you see a problem report it to one of our trail bosses.
C2 - At the top of Downy Rd the section of C2 (maintained by Candor Valley Riders) that used to run south through the woods to Gulf Creek Rd is closed due to a new landowner who does not want snowmobiles on their land.
C2 - At the end of Weston Road near Speedsville, sleds MUST stay out of the driveway at top of the hill. Follow the marked trail through the field, or this landowner will be shutting the trail down, and there is no good alternate route!
S23b - Alternate (field) route to Berkshire. Trail is closed until further notice due to land owner issues with an individual snowmobilier. That's right, one person's action can close a prime trail for everyone. When we get snow, riders will have to use the C2 (woods) route.
Remember if it were not for our landowners we wouldn't be able to ride and enjoy the sport we all love so much!!!
Please stay off the trails until we get more snow. Thanks!

If we get as much as predicted, trails will be open again.

I don't know why the club worded it like they did above but I just found out the problem was caused by me. I had a neighbor with a dog he let bark its ass off all d**n day and sometimes at night. I had enough and had to ask the dog cop to pay them a visit and tell them the rules after I made a 1 hr long video of the dog barking non stop. Well that guy now owns a section of trail that S23b crosses. So, he shut down his portion to keep me off it. I just got a call tonight from the club telling me the deal. I called the guy who owns the land and told him I will stay off the land and asked him to open it for everyone else, not fair to take it out on everyone if he has a problem with me. He said ok and trail is now open. So there you have it, barking dogs close trails LMFAO

Most trails are open! Open fields and hill tops may be bare or very thin due to wind blowing the powder off.

That is interesting. Going by the VFW there is maybe 2 inches of snow there and there is 3 inches down here in Berkshire... fyi to all.

No grooming yet, not enough snow/base. With the snowfall predicted, I expect to have much better conditions as the current fall is wetter and will stick and pack much better. 4+" expected by the time it stops.

FYI, signage is nearly complete on the new route that bypasses the waterholes on the section of trail between Lick St and Rt222. That section will be closed off.
