Hey guys, I live on Long Island but make the trek up to Old Forge area as often as I can, about 7-10 trips a season. Started out snowmobiling on snowboarding vacations in places like whistler B.C. and Jackson Hole and instantly it became a part of my life. I ride a 02 zr800 and my girlfriend (who is my favorite riding partner) rides my old 97 mxz583. I hope I get the chance to ride with some of you by the end of the season. I'll admit I was lurking for a few days to see if this was going to be like some of the other sites with all the argueing and bad attitudes but you guys all seem to get along!! RIDE SMART, RIDE SAFE. Brian

Brian Nope, you won't find all the typical sled forum bull here, just a bunch of good folks who love to ride. Glad you're part of "the family", and hopefully we'll meet up on the trails this season!

I agree with raceguy - there is none of that typical BS here like you find on some of the other sites. Just a bunch of people that want others to ride with who then get together and make it happen.
There are not threads like "how fast ur sled go" and "wat sled iz best" haha

Welcome, and don't forget that there are other parts of the state that get snow. Once we get enough here in CNY, the trips to the Hill are fewer for most of us. We have great trails and nice places to stay, many are right along the trails too.

Good thing I kept those receipts...Long Live the Yamaha and the 4-stroke power!!! Dan, Clayton, Dad...we must unite and stick together amongst these "haters" well I guess "hater" would be sufficient!!! Either way THINK SNOW and now that I have the next 12 days off..joys of teaching...time to ride!!!
