Hello All, let me tell you a little about myself: I'm originally from Baldwinsville, NY. I owned a Ski Doo Elan 250 growing up. I moved south to North Carolina in 1994 and I joined the Marines in 1996, I have been in the service ever since. My bro in-law has a few sleds that I get to ride when I go up to visit in the winter, I am an enthusiast unfortunately where I am at we get no snow and if we do, it's gone the next day! . I like to get on the forums, look at pics, hear about some of the stories as well as look at a few snow cams, therefore I am more of a lurker than a poster. It looks like this year I will not get any miles, but I'm hoping next year to get some before I go overseas Feb 2010. Well, that about sums it up for me. Take care and happy ridin'! Make a rip for me!!! ;D

Thank you very much! I am going to get in there and take a look. I found the Grist Mill cam as well as one in Lowville, not much but it's something I guess. Anyhow, my day will come!

I appreciate the "welcome aboard", I gotta tell you guys! I been looking up videos on you tube the last 30 min or so and I really wish I could have gotten up north this year for a little riding! I know the season isn't over but we'll have to see. I guess March is about as far as it goes for riding usually isn't it? Anyways, Duane, thank you for your service! What branch?

That's cool Duane! I am not too far from Ft. Bragg. I tell ya Duane, the reason I'm not looking to ride any is because my mother in law whose in NY, up there in Cleveland (right on Onieda Lake) is sick and we'll be lucky if she's around come spring! So my wife and I are hanging low down here to kind of see where things go! My brother in law (who just retired a yr ago from the county up there) pretty much takes care of her, so riding is wayyyy down on the list for him and the rest of the family! Know what I mean?

Thanks Duane! Hey man, here's a funny! My wife just got a call from a co worker and she's wondering about a possible snow day for tomorrow! My wife was all like wtf? We turn the tv on and look up weather dot com and low & behold! We are in for a snow storm starting late tonight lasting all day tomorrow! Hahahaha.... Well, I know all about the snow storms from up north, being away from it for as long as I have been, you appreciate snow a little more! Anyways, we'll be talking more I'm sure!
